A Name Change for Kiran Bedi!

Kiran Bedi has changed her name! Nopes, it’s not the original Kiran Bedi who has changed her name. It’s the film Kiran Bedi that’s being made in Kannada for Malashri by her producer husband Ramu, that’s opted for a name change. The new name will be Kannadada Kiran Bedi! Although the producers like us to believe that this name suits the movie more, inside sources tell a whole different story.

A few months ago, the original Kiran Bedi came to know about a film that’s being made in her name and also learnt that the producers didn’t even bother to take her permission about it. Not the one to take things lying down, she issued a statement that she will seek legal recourse about this violation of personal rights. The industry sources claim that this name change is a result of that action by Kiran Bedi.

Well, we can only say that merely adding the name Kannada in the beginning will not make the film earthier. Let’s see how it shapes up when it releases, which is not too far away.
