A Sequel to Raam?
He may not have got it as an actor, but producer Adithya Babu seems to have struck gold with Raam, with the star power of Puneeth Rajkumar to rake in the moolah. According to Adithya Babu, Raam is the biggest hit in Puneeth’s career and he plans to make a sequel to the film, titled Raama Raama.
While it’s nice to see that lady luck has finally smiled on a struggling KFI in form of Raam, what is not good is that its sequel will also be a remake. Reports suggest that Adithya Babu has already obtained the rights for Telugu film Dhee, and has discussed the story with Puneeth and Raghavendra Rajkumar. May be Adithya Babu has found his secret formula for success in KFI and that is to remake super hit Telugu films!
We wished Raam wasn’t a remake; and now, after its success, we strongly wish that at least its sequel wasn’t a remake!

What u have said is correct. BT also trying to encash the popularity of puneeth rajkumar in different way. As we know most of the people having internet connection are higher community in society. They don’t tolerate to see other person to get famous and popular. But don’t worry most of the real heroes like puneeth, Darshan, sudeep etc have more fans who don’t use internet and won’t come to reply here. In internet somebody have only work to criticize rajkumar and rajkumar family. And we shouldn’t care about them because they usually don’t watch more kannada movies, especially they don’t like action movies as they don’t know to fight. They only know to speak and speak without any sense. And they will be speaking in future also. Who will care for them

Dr. Rajkumar never said no to remake movies. Rajkumar lead rally for voice dubbed movies from other languages. Before writing be sure what you write.Remake movies like YAJAMANARU, SURYAVAMSHI, MY AUTOGRAPH, APTHA MITRA etc movies have run successfully. You people like to target only Raj family. I do not know what they have done to you buggers.
talking of remakes – have seen shivanna’s madesha, nandha, hodi maga, parmesh panwala etc… nothing original to boast of……

Bellary,there is big difference between inspiration and remake.Hope you understand it well before posting like this.No Indian language movie producer can remake Hollywood movies ,as there are several constraints in the form of budget,culture,geographical conditions ,market and rest.For your kind information its hit there and doesnt matter much as long as we are knowing the matters above and have pride about uniqueness.

there was a time when our Dr. Raj used to stage protests and lead rallys against remakes.. sad to see his children puneet and to a great extent shivarajkumar churning out one remake movie after another!
We cant wait to see the sequel where the college dropout [again] with heart of gold who wear hip clothes[again] , fall in love with the cutest girl[again] and can bash up 20 ppl[again] , and also find time to dance on the street[again] .
Raam is like ‘Gaja Part II’ where there was greater resemblance between the two. Gaja was watchable while Raam has no content in it. I wonder how Puneeth agreed such a movie without any life. The movie is running only because of Puneeth and Priya. Unwanted scences and songs tests your patience in the movie. Request all people to boycott such remakes and encourage only good kannada movies. Puneeth should think twice before signing such movies especially if it is from Telugu. There are good Telugu movies and KFI should not blindly follow like a herd. Down with Remakes.
