Bhavana Rao Moves to Tamil

April 26th, 2009 at 12:14 pm

BhavanaRao You may not have noticed it. But even though Gaalipata was a hit, none of its three female leads, Bhavana Rao, Daisy Bopanna, or Neethu could make it phenomenally big in KFI. While Neethu and Daisy are still battling it out in the big bad world of Gandhinagar, Bhavana had relegated herself to the confines of her home after Gaalipata. She says the offers that came her way were not even worth laughing at.

Apparently, one director told the girl that he wanted to cast her in a horror film as she had big eyes. Other offers were equally thoughtful. And after waiting for what looked like an eternity now, Bhavana has kept her feelings aside about Kannada and has picked up a Tamil Project. She will be playing a lead role opposite Karthik in Tamil film Kola Kolaya Muntirukka (discerning readers, anybody know what that means?!).

Bravo Bhavana, once you become successful down there in Chennai, these same producers and directors will pay you double the price you are getting now and would cast you opposite good heroes.

Keep that kite high and flying!

Firstly, she looks pathetic for a heroine, fit for a boring TV serioal. Good riddance.

She needs help… i’ve heard her say many negative things about producers in Kannada. If she doesn’t want the offers, why not respectfully decline. There’s no guarantee about her future in Kannada.. Kannada industry needs help too.

Got something to say?
