Chetan’s new film Mareyalaare

July 18th, 2010 at 10:09 am

Chetan He tried pony tail, he tried action, he even went topless with six packs. Though they got him many headlines in media, were not enough to draw crowd to his movies. Both of his earlier action thrillers Suryakanti and Birugaali crashed at box office leaving the NRI boy jobless. Trapped in an industry which is yet to learn to cash in on looks of male leads, Chetan is back to doing what cutie pies are good at, Romance.

Chetan is acting in a new romance film titled "Mareyalaare", to be launched officially today.  It’s going to be directed by a newbie Sharat Khadri. Sindhu Lokanath who appeared in a small role in a forgettable film, Parichaya is promoted to full time heroine in this film. Debutant directors favourite, Arjun is composing the music for this film. Arjun had delivered a hit album in Birugaali. Sharad Khadri himself is producing this movie under the Surabhi Talkies Pvt. Ltd. banner.

lol….how ridic nisha…lol….if heroes were to be remembered by titles only, then why give hit movies huh?……………..how lame! whether it’s aa dinagalu or birugaali or suryakaanti, chetan is always mareyalaare! unforgettable! oh and @ rash, there are atleast 100 pages min with chetan’s info only:-)….just google it off….

@nisha-if ‘jobless’ is– teaching kids in mullur village school every week., studying women gender issues with scholarship, writing down screenplay and dialogues, then yeah…………….chetan has only done a guest appearance in raam—most guest appearances are insignificant if u look at it that way…….only reason they are kept is to get publicity for the film.

It’s good he is choosy with films.. He hides himself.. He has no website, no wikipedia, no information about him on the net..

I think he’s afraid that people have forgotten him altogether. Author is right in saying he’s jobless, that’s precicely the reason he has chosen the insignificant role in RAAM where Puneet just demolished him. He only WISHES PEOPLE WIILL NOT FORGET HIM, A WISHFUL THINKING.Another reason for him to choose this title.

I hope the heroine is good in this film. Birugaali heroine was crap. Looks like harsha got some favours and he cast her as heroine.

  15. gangadhar on July 20th, 2010 1:55 am

Chetan looks good.. Wish him all the success and let be a superstar in KFI.

  16. ashwin on July 19th, 2010 12:37 pm

just because a hero is not taking up films out of the 100s of offers he gets, it doesn’t make him jobless(how absurd). the word is ‘choosy’…he’s written screenplay too…

this particular cutie pie is good at everything…..action and romance…with plenty of talents to add to it. i don’t know another star in india who can play the saxophone! remember he’s a Yale graduate!….deserves a more respectful article. all the best Chetan. you’re a rockstar!!
