Ganesh with “Ili”ana!
The Pokri gal Illeana is rumored to have accepted a Kannada film with Ganesh. This was bound to happen. Because even if you take a mythological perspective of this matter, ಗಣೇಶ was always destined to work with ’ಇಲಿ’ಯಾನಾ! The market forces might have delayed the inevitable, but who can stop our gods and their vehicles of success coming together?
Ganesh will work with Illeana after he completes the shooting for Ullasa Utsaha and a new film with his long lost friend Preetham Gubbi. The film will be produced by Chadrashekhar, who produced Bindaass and it will be directed by Bharath who earlier directed Kamthi, starring Murali and Ramya.
22 year old Illeana was first spotted in a Fair & Lovely ad with Rakesh Roshan. The girl was picked up by YVS Chowdhary for his film Devadasu with Ram. The film grossed handsome money in the box office. But it was pale compared to her second film Pokri, with Mahesh Babu, which was a mega success.
The girl is now being touted as the next big thing in South Indian film industry. Apart from Telugu films, Illeana has also worked in a Tamil film and the rumors suggest that she is also doing a Hindi film.
Born in Mumbai, Illeana currently resides at Goa with her Roman Catholic father and her Muslim mother. We are still to know from whom she gets her good looks!
Illeana is a Greek name that means, “Helen of Troy!”
