Hamsalekha all set to institutionalize music

hamsalekha While his bad run in the movies continues in 2009 too, Hamsalekha is all set to start a new college this month in Bangalore. It’s been named as “Hamsalekha College of Performing Arts and Research Center”. This college is affiliated to Andhra based “Dravidian University”. Dravidian University, a 11 year old university founded in 1997 by Andhra Pradesh Government with the help of all the South Indian governments for the development of Dravidian languages.

Hamsalekha College of Performing Arts and Research Center is going to be inaugurated on 23-JUN-2009. It will offer a four year degree course in Bachelor of Performing Arts (BPA). The curriculum includes Music, Cinematography, Direction and Sound Engineering. The course will teach Hamsalekha’s own Desi Music also. Desi Music is the application of Hamsalekha’s invention of a unique music script for folk music called "Desi Notation".

Admission to this degree course will be through an entrance test to be conducted on 17th June 2009.

    I would line to know the address and telephone no. of the institution and the details of the entrance test. Im in I year PUC and have completed junior exam in Carnatic classical music.

    hamsalekha is my god father for music, i am intresting in singing, i love so much of his songs, lyricks, once more i am the great fan of him, i have to admission to his university, so please send how much the fee for four year course and timings of the class

    would like to know the place of the institution and venue for the entrance test .. and would like to know the contact number too..
