House full Music Review

(2/5) Audio Review by Hitha Gujjar
For an alleged youthful comedy film, all Kiran manages to give us is a neophyte sample of outdated music. It’s either the boredom or the haziness in the music that puts it off. Not to forget the uniform bass that sets vibes of annoyance. The music on the whole is overcast. Unlike Diganth and Vishaka, the music is nothing close to their youthful sparkle. Romance doesn’t resonate with boredom which seems to be the hidden theme of this album. Too many high pitched female voices also almost penetrate into your auditory senses.
Manadalli Muchchitta Preeti [Singers: Karthik, Anuradha Bhat; Lyrics: Hemanth Hegde]: The first song of the album and it doesn’t rise above the average mark. It starts all fine and then the male lead starts to pull you towards slumber. It seems like the song that belongs to a tragic movie. Anuradha’s voice is too high pitched, sounds very fragile. The song really tries to express the agony of staying away from your loved one. The lyrics are simple. The Kannada used is not too bookish nor is it too colloquial.
Olavu Moodida Aa Kshana [Singer: Rahul Vaidya; Lyrics: Hemanth Hegde]: It starts with some really nice mind refreshing music. But what makes this song boring is the fact that it is almost uniform throughout the song. The listener is awaiting for atleast one lively moment in the song and to his dismay there isn’t one.. Hemanth Hegde is no good in mixing Hindi lyrics, maybe he should avoid the use of Hindi. Rahul Vaidya is the consolation factor as his voice suits Diganth.
Go Go Munde Hogu [Singer: Vineet Singh; Lyrics: V. Anand]: The start is a perfect turn off for any music lover. The originality-deficient Kiran copy-pastes music from the English song “My dream is to fly over the rainbow”. Although Kiran does a nice piece here, the singer Vineet seems to lack energy. There are some parts of the song, where the lyrics and the karaoke do not suit, sounds like he is bathroom singing. There are some parts where you can catch some really good back and forth snapping music. Either it’s the pronunciation of Anand’s lyrics or the singer’s style itself, there is something hazy in the way the song proceeds.
It manages somehow (with great difficulty though) to get to the slot of inspirational songs not because of the music but because of the lyrics.
Rammu Brandi [Singer: Krishna; Lyrics: Hemanth Hegde]: Hemanth Hegde might want to give this kind of lyrics a try, if not lovey-dovey romantic ones. He manages to clearly generalize women’s behavior, smart enough to have an excuse-the influence of alcohol. The song starts off on a good tone, the dazed voice in the background adds to the drunken state.
The vocal imitation of a woman also adds to the funny quotient. The lyrics are in Kanglish with a slightly creative vocab, software babu and the like. Krishna could use some more energy.
Neeli Nayanadi [Singers: Javed Ali, Anuradha Bhat; Lyrics: Hrudaya Shiva]: The new genre in which this song would fit in is Confusion. It starts with energy, then gets calm, then add to it some heavy beats, now as that’s boiling add some Punjabi beats, then garnish it with a few lines in English. That’s how Neeli Nayanadi sounds. The originality- deficient Kiran again copies parts of the Hindi song Nagada, from Jab we met. Javed Ali drags himself to sing in parts of the song. Kiran could change the karaoke considering it all sounds similar in the same album.

diganth is too good for kannada
i dis agree with haritha cos songs r melodious and pleasant, cinematography is good and lets see what happens after the movie release .cos its a do or die movie for hemanth hegde
Quality work has to be always warm welcomed,i personally
felt this movie is a break through to diganth.cos the song is shot really good with the composition.
music is for ears ,so i tell the critic to enjoy every bit of it ,rather to comment like this, i personally loved two melodious songs from the movie housefull.and i wish Diganth a great success in this movie.
I would like to ask the music critic if she/he has ever composed even a single tune? What gives her the credibility to critisize someone else’s work.
Ms Gujjar doesn’t seem to have an ear for music…
diganth is just amazing in the manadalli song, which is posted on youtube
and composition is good
songs of housefull r really good, and diggu looks great in that manadalli song
first three songs of the movie has come really well and i feel it should be a hit,as far is hitha gujjar is concerned she doesnt sound like a kannadiga ,
Diganth needs acting lessons
Diganth career can take new direction from Manasare.
Diganth is a big flop.
