Indra
Attention, Darshan fans! Indra release date is announced. Indra is going to be released onto the theatres on 30th May 2008. Surprisingly its not getting released to any of the multiplexes in Bangalore. Even the movie like “Sundari Ganda Sadananda” had managed to get place in PVR. But somehow despite having a superhit like Gaja, Indra didn’t get any multiplex.
The magic combination of Darshan and Harikrishna is back again after the super hit “Gaja”. H.Vasu is directing this movie. The movie is complete and set to hit the theatres very soon. This time Darshan is playing double role in Indra. Interesting to see whether the “machchu” will also play the dual role or not! It’s officially announced that Indra is a remake of Tamil super hit, “Arasu”. Here Darshan is paired with the plumpy barrel Namitha and Sanghavi. Apart from her out of order figure, Namitha’s revulsion for cloths is also well known.

Indra Music Review: Typical Darshan Album
By Raju Shanbhag
There is something very special and unique about the Indra album; our beloved Sonu Nigam has not sung a single song in the entire movie! Although other Bollywood singers almost make up for his absence, isn’t this a courageous step by the music director? Or was Sonu too busy singing other Kannada songs? Anyway, let’s hit right on to the songs;
Raja Ninnaane: Surprise surprise! I was expecting a typical hard hitting, heavy on drums song from a Darshan movie. But this song is pretty nice. The tune is really good although you have a feeling that you have heard it before. Nothing special about the lyrics by Nagendra Prasad.
Rainbow: Now we are talking about Darshan movie! This is a song purely for the front benchers by the music director of Gaalipata. The presence of lyrics (Kaviraj) in the song is just a funny coincidence.
Daari Bidi: ‘Make way,’ sings Shankar Mahadevan, and we would be almost tempted to do so the moment we start listening to the song. Just one minute into the song, you can almost imagine Darshan walking towards the camera in slow motion, with extras throwing flowers on him in the side wing. Make Way!
Gum Gum: Your confidence about your knowledge of Kannada will be singlehandedly shattered when you listen to this masterpiece written by Nagedra Prasad. What does one mean by Gum or Gumtale in Kannada? Probably even music director did not understand the meaning and filled the whole song with drumbeats to save you from listening to the lyrics.
E Gallassi: You don’t have to be a genius to figure out that this is an item number. But you will have to polish your knowledge of both Kannada and Hindi to understand the full meaning of this song. But chances are, if you are watching this song on screen, you will not give a damn about the meaning of this song as there will be other things to watch out for!

why kannada singers are not getting good opportunities in kannada films only… i think thats why kannada film industry has failed to produce a good playback singer.. so before telling to any kannadiga to watch kannada movie, first give better opportunities to kannada people…….
