Indrajith Lankesh is back

This is the classic case of pupil dazzling the tinsel town while her less popular teacher struggles to find his feet. The teacher in question here is director Indrajit Lankesh and his once humble pupil Deepika Padukone is the gal taking the bollywood by storm. While Deepika is making merry in the Hindi film industry both on and off the screen, Indrajith Lankesh, who tried his luck in Bollywood has returned empty handed. His Hindi films, Shaadi Ke After Effects and Black Diamond didn’t see the light of the day and the man is back to the Kannada industry now.

Indajit Lankesh has taken up two projects and there is not much information available on any of these. One of these two projects was launched on 6th Dec 2008. H.C.Venu, whose brilliance seemed almost accidental in Ganga Kaveri when compared to the rest of the pack, will be handling the camera for this film and the casting is not decided yet.

The film is expected to begin shooting in January 2009.
