Jackie Music Review
(3.5/5) Tapori Tunes!
Well, we had listened to our fair share of Tappanguchchi songs before in Kannada, hadn’t we? But as far as our memory goes, this is the first time an entire album is dedicated to Taporis and their invaluable philosophy of life. Yogaraj Bhat, the philosophical Tapori of KFI, pens some refreshing lyrics for the songs while Harikrishna matches his audacity with some ‘in your face’ tunes. On a whole, at least three songs in the album are utterly likeable and the other two are not bad too.
Shiva Anta Hogutidde – [Tippu]: The thumping beats by Harikrishna and the edgy voice of Tippu find their perfect alibi in Yogaraj Bhat’s unapologetically brash lyrics in this opening track. It’s the perfect start for an allegedly Tappanguchchi album. The song wonderfully balances the rhythm and energy, both at the same time.
Eradu Jadeyannu – [Sonu Nigam, Shreya Ghoshal]: Latch on to this melody, before it’s gone. This is the only ‘slow melody’ in this entire album and this is a beautiful song. Like a pure vegetarian in a kebab center, this song stands out from the rest of the tapori songs. Sonu Nigam and Shreya Ghoshal, as usual, do a fantastic job.
Ekka Raja Rani – [Kailash Kher]: Yogaraj Bhat goes sarcastically philosophical and Kailash Kher renders the song with the detachment of a Sufi saint; and the song my friends, is all about playing cards! The song takes a dig at the addicted gamblers and beware, you might be addicted to the song before you know what’s happening!
Edavatt Aiatu – [Puneeth Rajkumar, Priya Himesh]: Not a bad song, but it doesn’t stand up to the level of other songs in the album. Again YB’s lines such as Kaarana Ilde Kalgejje Ghal Endangaytu make the day. Puneeth Rajkumar is cheerful and Priya Himesh does well too.
Jackie Jackie – [Naveen Madhav]: Listen to the lyrics if you can, in between the unforgiving beat of instruments; for the lyrics are striking by YB. Harikrishna rehashes some old Hindi tunes (and we guess, that has got to do something with the narration in the film). Naveen Madhav does his best.

Tippu’s version of “Ekka Raja Rani” is too good. I am hooked to that song. Good job by Yogaraj Bhat, Harikrishna and Tippu.

The movie has stood up to the expectations and it has proved good. try to accept it. Kannada industry is rocking these days,, keep up the good work.

YB is FIL of R.Shanbag & Puneet is his SIL. So RS always supports both of them. 75k audio CD purchasers are all Deaf & D.Audiance who dance to the tunes when played in theatre are all bribed by PR.Better check with good Psychologist.
Harikrishna is getting very repeatitive. ” Shiva Anta Hogutidde” resembles “Smilo re” from Navagraha. Nothing special about “Edavattu ayithu”. Jackie Jackie song’s begining part is lifted from Phantom of opera-Link is ” http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ej1zMxbhOO0 ” So, Harikrishna has copied the beginning. The rest of the song was copied by Jassie Gift in Kudinotave from movie “parichaya”. It seems like HK rented the CD from Jassie Gift…he he

Arjun’s music is nice no doubt, but he is not the only music director. If you like him well and good, its not necessary others and their music is not good. I dont understand in wat way HariKrishna is repeating the music, if so his music wud hv not been hit one after d other. Other than v no one (music director, director, producer or actors) else who are listening to the music is making his music hit. That means many of us likes his music.
This site may or may not be biased, but it seems ur biased. Every1 wil get his time to raise as a star, currently its HariKrishna thats it. You enjoy the music if you like it than seeing who did that. I wish even Arjun gets a good break soon.

Jackie songs are rocking everywhere. It is already a chart buster in FM.Audio Sales are at its peak. Songs may not sound good for deaf & dumb people. I guess you are one of them.
Songs are not good, Harikrishna now-a-days is repeating the same kind of music. The only Music Director who is not getting good deals is ARJUN, He is the only Music Director where all songs are different. We can call him as ARR of kannada Film Industry. Listen to his Music of recent Sanchari ( Gaaleya Noodu baa) and Gubbi Songs, superb Songs, But this site Bellitere is always baised towards Punneeth and YB.
Normally this site gave more supports to PUNITH n YB………….. I THINK THEY GAVE MONEY….. PUNITH POLITICS…….. THATS Y I HATE PUNITH……… JACKEY MOVIE SONGS ARE BORING…

No doubt music is fantastic. Too good music by V Harikrishna, that is why he is the number one music director of KFI. But lets not forget the could be -ve of the album – YB’s lyrics.
This is the first time that this kinda lyrics is seen from the Dr. Raj family banner. Dont know what is going to be conveyed with the song lyrics which about gambling. “Ekka raja rani”, “hidi mannu ninna bayolage”, “boli magandu”, “devravne mane mari bidi” – words not be expected in songs. The songs could be of “Tapori style” but no one should expect lyrics that are misleading youth further. Not suited for all family members and children.
Same has happened with “Raaj, The Showman” where the music was extraordinary but down was the lyrics by Nagendra Prasad., now with Yograj Bhat.
“Eradu Jadeyannu” song is simply superb with the lyrics.
Hopefully things get sorted out with the movie.
Jackie Jackie song is not refreshing of Hindi old tunes, it’s refreshing of Dr Rajkumar’s movie Vasantha Geetha song “Kannali eno minchondhu kandithalla”

Within 24 hours of audio release a record of 25000 CD’s were sold . Do you guess that the Anand audio owners are fools to purchase the rights for a hefty 40lacs. Let your critics be fair enough so that atleast 20% of the blogers agree with you. Otherwise people think are you not from this planet.
Stop commenting this movie music came with huge expections but real color is now opens pakka low class songs diserves 1.5 only. Also this movie is a remake of english ROONI.

If she had references she would had given in her first comments only. If any audio is hit in kannada they will simply blame that the tunes has been stolen from other languages. The only attitude of this people is to see that KFI should not grow . Down with this people.

Not a great album. He keeps repeating some of the previous tunes and some are derived from Tamil and Hindi

Movie will be Super hit because of Soori and Puneeth. Soori’s Direction is very good, top class director presently in KFI.

Good and bit different audio compared to all previous audios of APPU full tapanguchi numbers and one thing is sure that 4 songs of the movie will be the chartbusters of the year………. Good tune selection of suri, fantastic lyrics by Yograj Bhatt, no words to say about harikrishna he is awesome as usual……….. Total audio rocking i just loved it
Two fabulous albums back to back….hope this movies create history too…..wait for upendra’s directorial movie’s album….coz it has harikrishna and of-course above all it has upendra:)

Its a good development, Hope both the movie occupy the theatre until the year end……which should be sure shot 100 days….
