London Gowda is coming!

Somebody really thinks names such as Dubai Babu look cute on Upendra. So, a trend has started in that direction. Uppi’s new film is named London Gowda which will start shooting in March. Although Uppi will write screenplay and dialogues for the film, he will not be directing it. Producer N. R Shetty says the director is not finalized yet.
The story of London Gowda revolves around an illiterate chap in Mandya going to London and becoming a learned dude. So, it will have all the opportunities for Upendra’s usual mannerisms and histrionics. Sanjeev Darshan, son of a famous Bollywood music director Shravan (Nadeem-Shravan duo) will score the music for this film.
Other star cast is yet to be finalized.
Quite possible, but in Namaste London, Akshay is a literate but village chap. There was one Tamil movie of Madhavan which had similar storyline. It might be remake of that movie also.
