A disappointment. My rating is 2 stars out of 3. Sure it is inhuman to expect that all music by Mano be as good as Mungaru. But the alleged great combo of the so-called great director and Mano should have at a minumum produced an above average album. It is not the case.

1) In an interview it is claimed by Mano and the director that the music is “haunting”. I am afraid that is not the case. More haunting music have been produced before.
2) Like almost all Mano music, all songs and their compositions appear derivative. Mind you derivative is not a copy but it is not entirely original. You always get the feeling that you have heard some aspects of it before.
3) One song starts with latin flavor and switches to something derivative once the lyrics set in.
4) Another begins with a Kenny G-ish instrumental and switches to something else.
5) Why they use that nasal twang singer (Kunjal/Ginjal ??) who sounds like an old man ? Stupid.

Bottom Line : Even in his so-so albums, Mano used to have atleast one good composition that stood out. In others atlleast two or three were worth it (Example – Milana). But in Manasare, none stay in your mind for long. I have already deleted the entire album from my Nano.
Mano should do two or three movies a year and aim for quality instead of quantity. This guy is supposed to have lived in the USA. Did he not learn anything ??? A tragic shame.

Manomurthy’s score is the best this year so far. He should continue with his variations in music. The background music is very good

Songs are good in Manasaare and NBN album. Manomurthy has done good job. However its enough Mr. Manomurthy, i am taking pain to tell you that you are too much relying on saxophone and guitar. Almost all tunes in your previous works sounds similar. I am getting bored of it. Please try different instruments atleast in future.

Manasare , for me is on par with Mungaru Male ! No less !

Extremely happy with the quality of the songs. High quality lyrics, tunes, excellent singing pushing this into the “Evergreen” category .

If you go by Yograj Bhat’s comment on this movie “this movie is the Best till date from him”, this is surely going to create history again !
