Meravanige Music Review: Disappointing!

Poor guy Kantharaj(the producer), he’s all my sympathies! Not only that V.Manohar has given a very mediocre music, he’s made Kantharaj cough out more bucks by taking high profile Hindi singers like Udit Narayan, Shankar Mahadevan, and Kunal Gunjawala. To be brutally frank, the music is not even worth reviewing or listening to. If you still want to read the review or download these songs or buy the cassette/CD, go ahead at your own risk!
Elliruve: A very ordinary song sung by Udit Narayan and Shamita. Nothing much to write about.
Endendu Active Agi: Either Shankar Mahadevan is an old friend of music director V. Manohar or he has been paid huge money to sing this song. There is no reason for him to be singing this waste of a song. Another very ordinary song.
Kaanana Kaanana: A very short song that will appeal to the fans of semi classical music. Not as good as the songs from films like Ananda Bhairavi.
Mana Mugila Mele: This is where V. Manohar comes to his elements. The song is catchy, worth listening to, and sung well by Shruthi. This is the kind of music that we expect from V. Manohar!
Nannolave: A typical sad song by Kunal Gunjawala. Mr. Manohar, please! Any of our local singers could have sung it equally well, what do you say?
Patangavagi: Who is Gayatri Ganjawala? Is she related to Kunal Gnajawala? She sounds like our own Manjula Gururaj. Song is worth giving a miss!
Student Life: The beginning of this song sounds like those Christmas songs that are sung by Santa Clauses.

i just saw the poster of meravanige the cute heroine lifts prajwal on her back i will see the movie only for her
Meravanige’s promos are also terrible.. Atleast initial promos should have been carrying Mahesh Babu who has given two superhits and the cute babe Andrita.. Instead all the promos are carrying Prajwal’s pics on whom other than his own family, nobody’s interested.
It’s surprising that the music is mediocre. Mahesh Babu’s earlier two movies(Akash and Arasu) music was damn good.. Looks like Mahesh Babu had no saying in the music of those two movies as they were from Rajkumar banner and Parvatamma Rajkumar or somebody from Rajkumar family must have selected those songs…
Roma is plump..
Though I don’t want to down this gal, Roma darling of Aramane, is far better than this girl.
Well, men are men… Both are hot!
Avalu kannada matadodu kelu guru, biddu hogbidtiya!!! Pooja Gandhi ge yaava reetiyindlu kammi illa!! Even though she’s studying in Bangalore, her kannada is so pathetic! That shows the sorry state of Kannada in Bangalore!!
Oh…now I see, the secret of her bright smile
Yup.. She had rejected Mungaru Male. That time including Yograj Bhat, nobody had expected that it’d be such a big hit!
She’s native of West Bengal(like Priyanka of Malla fame) and studying her dental course in Dr.Ambedkar College.
She’s also done some modelling. She’s worked in several ads like Cadbury, Wagon R, Parachute Oil and TVS Scooty.
