Moggina Manassu to be Remade in Telugu
Moggina Manassu is blooming in other places. Continuing the heartening tradition of Kannada films being remade to other languages, the Shashank directed Moggina Manassu will now be made in Telugu, to be produced by a real estate big shot in that state. Funny, because the original flick too was produced by E. Krishnappa, the real estate magnate of Karnataka.
If you remember, there were plans of remaking the movie earlier in Shashank’s direction. But somehow, that didn’t materialize and Shashank is currently busy with Krishnan Love Story. So Venkat will direct the Telugu version with a new star cast. But interestingly Shubha Punja’s role will be played by our Achcha Kannadada Hudugi Keerti who played an insignificant role in Just Maath Maathalli and played the heroine in Preethi Ne Shashwathana.
We hope this trend of remaking Kannada films into other languages makes the filmmakers in KFI come up with more original stuff.

Thanks to Producer & Director of ‘Moggina Manasu’ for having done a good script. We are making the remakes to the extent of 50% of Telugu & Tamil films released in their states.
At least 1 or 2 kannada films they remake, we should be happy for that.
But, they don’t remake frame to frame, location to location, shot to shot, costume to costume, tune to tune etc. They may change the narration and give good finishing for the film.
