Nana Patekar to Act in Kannada?

He is known for his firebrand dialogue deliveries and stunning portrayal of natural acting. He may not attract people like moths to light, but interestingly, he is among the most sought after actors in Bollywood. Nana Patekar, the man who plays character roles in Hindi but charges much more than many heroes down south; is rumored to be coming to Kannada.

And the man who is trying to bring him to Kannada is none other than Suresh Urs, the well known editor who is turning producer with a movie named Parole. Suresh Urs is said to have finished first rounds of talks with Nana and if all goes well, Nana will soon make his appearance in kannada in this film.

The film is directed by Rajashekhar and music will be handled by debutant Balaji, who earlier worked with A. R Rahman. The film will have 8 heroes and maybe an equal number of heroines.

South film industry is not entirely new to Nana. He has earlier worked in a Tamil film Bommalattam with Arjun Sarja. If Nana indeed acts in Kannada, it will be interesting to see who will mouth his dialogues.

Because we believe Nana without his voice is like a Pizza without its topping!
