Outsider’s Darbaar!

They say once you get hooked by the limelight, you stay hooked. Actress Meena, who lit up the south cine screens with her dazzling smile in her heydays, had disappeared from the films after her marriage. But now, the beautiful actress is back where she belongs. She will be seen with Ramesh Aravind in a movie called Hendteera Darbar.

But this seems to be mainly a Darbar of outsiders to us. Apart from Meena, the director of the film is also a non-Kannadiga (Shekhar) who has earlier directed many movies in Telugu. The film is a remake of Tamil movie by name Varavu Ettana Salavu Pattana. Fortunately, the music is by Sadhu Kokila who will also perform some standup comedy act along with Rangayana Raghu in the film. Raju Mahendra will handle the cinematography for the film and the other star cast includes Ambika Soni (nopes, not the politician!) and Preethi.

The roles performed by Nazar and Radhika will be enacted here by Ramesh and Meena. Producer J. Ramachadran is also playing a small role in the film (He is basically a stage artist from Kollegala).
