Forget it!

Paramesh Paanwala music review by Raju Shanbhag

ParameshPaanwala Honestly, we believe that it’s time Shivarjkumar should take matters into his hands. Too many people are taking advantage of this gentleman actor’s good nature and the results are not too gentle on your years. Look at this album; it has music by one of the hip and happening music directors in the Kannada industry, V. Harikrishna. But what he dishes out in the name of catering to the mass audience is almost an insult to Shivarajkumar’s caliber as a person and an actor. Paramesha Panwala is a forgettable album on all counts. Hope the film will not be as bad.

Dil Dhadak Dhadak: If you didn’t have the good fortune of listening to Rafta Rafta from the Hindi film Hulchul, directed by Priyadarshan (music by Vidyasagar), music director Harikrishna gives you another opportunity in Dil Dhadak Dhadak. Do not miss this opportunity, as Sonu Nigam’s overworked voice strains at parts and threatens to destroy all the good work done by Anuradha Bhat. But Vidyasagar will be proud of the way Harikrishna has remixed this song. Nice work of imitation!

Madaraasu Aisa: When you have a song glorifying the preeminence of Paan, you can’t help but compare it to Khaike Paan Banaraswala from Amitabh Bachchan’s don. This song is no match to Khaike Paan Banaraswala in any imaginable way. Forget it.

Sum Sumke: Nothing much happens in this song except everyone shrieking at the top of their voices as if they are possessed with some supernatural power. Any track singer could have done total justice to this injustice of a song. Honestly, SPB was not needed for this track. V. Nagendra Prasad’s lyrics are just what the doctor ordered, but make sure that you never go to that doctor. Never!

Savira Savira Janma: As the rap like beats engulf your senses, you’ll think that this is a club track. But the lyrics will soon halt you right in your tracks as this is a mushy song about the typical filmy brother sister love. Kaviraj’s emotionally charged lyrics are in complete contrast with dude like voice of Kunal Ganjawala and funky music by Harikrishna. Hope this incongruous combination of music and lyrics has some explanation in the films.

Tuntaraama Puttaraama: We don’t like repeating the same words again. Just one word, “ordinary” would suffice for this song.

“Too many people are taking advantage of this gentleman actor’s good nature and the results are not too gentle on your years”

If he really has good nature he should do some social service, build schools, free education, etc… not bankrupting producers by acting in crappy films.

According to Anand audio owner’s son, this good natured gentleman shivaraj kumar encouraged them to produce “Rowdy Aliya”, and the results were disastraous.

Trailer looks even more worse than album.. Surely a flop all the way..
