Paramesha Panwala to release on Dec. 5
Shivanna needs a hit, and he needs it urgently. He played the family sentiments in Bandhu Balaga and the box office sentiments did not respond accordingly. He brandished weapons in madesha but the box wasn’t exactly set on fire. Now, Shivanna will be back again with Paramesha Panwala on Dec. 5 to test his luck in Gandhinagar.
It’s a sad state of affair that an actor Shivarajkumar’s caliber is branded to either melodramatic family sentimental stories or overblown underworld stories. It’s not that the actor hasn’t tried different things. There have been various experimental films such as Gandugali Kumara Rama, Hagalu Vesha, Inspector Vikram, Andaman, and so on. But off late, the versatility has taken a backseat in this actor’s repertoire as he struggles for a hit.
While the promos of Paramesha Panwala do not look very promising, let’s hope that director Mahesh Babu has something entertaining for us in his kitty.
