Distinguished editor Suresh Urs gifted his wife Mala Urs with Parole on the silver jubilee of their wedding. Mala Urs produces Parole with Shekhar at the helm. Shekar who had previously directed AmruthaVani, an Ajay, Naveen Krishna and Radhika starer, emerges with multiple facets in Parole for story, screenplay and direction. Gundlupete Suresh welds the camera and Balaji Mitran from Chennai composes the music.
Parole which is all set for release is about six youngsters played by Likith Shetty, Vishwas, Pradeep, Suraj, Raani and Supritha. With the exception of Supritha-the Ambari girl, Parole comes with a liberal sprinkling of newbies.
Supritha who scored more for her girl-next-door looks rather than her acting skills in Ambari hopes Parole will change her course of luck. Talking of luck, the girl met with an accident that required her to stay put for two months. The accident costed her ‘Kaalgejje’; a movie she lost out to Chilipili Roopika (Cheluvina Chilipili heroine). Supritha is back to work now for shooting a song sequence for Parole and its audio is set to release sometime this month.

Gorgeous Suprita. Why our directors neglect such brilliant actresses and imports heroines from other states? We have a good pool of talent within our great Karnataka. While we have exported heroines like Aishwarya, Shilpa Shetty, Deepika, the import rate too has not fallen behind. So sad
