Police Quarters to open 2010 account

AMR Ramesh’s bilingual venture, Police Quarters is going to be released on 1st Jan 2010. Its Tamil version is going to be released on 29th Jan 2010. AMR Ramesh himself is distributing this film across Karnataka. Police Quarters is based on a real life story of a close knit Police family.
Chaitanya’s Suryakaanti and Dayal Padmanabhan’s Sriharikathe are also in the race to release on 1st Jan 2010, but it’s not confirmed yet.
Debutant director Manju Swaraj’s horror flick, Shishira is set to release on 25th Dec 09. It also happens to be Prema’s comeback movie. Puneeth’s Raam also might get released this Friday. But again, there is lot of confusion surrounding its release.
Ofcourse no one cant be compared with stephen speilberg or james cameroon. These directors are once in a generation. But AMR Ramesh is also talented director. His movie Cynide was one of the best kannada movies of this decade.
Lets hope he delivers another good movie. So that it wud be good news for KFI.

Well… it might be a false rumor. Kathal is already remade in Kannada as Cheluvina Chitthara and that story nowhere seems to be related with this police story. It may not be remake of that other tamil movie also bcos this movie is getting released in tamil also.

This one is again a mixture of Tamil Movie Subramanipuram and Kathal. Lets hope so its better re-mixed this time.
