Ragini’s item number costs her a film!
In Hollywood, there are actors who do even a miniscule role if they think it has scope to showcase their talent. Back in Sandalwood, (as some call it) Ragini, who made her debut as a leading lady in Sudeep’s Veera Madakari has been adopting the same philosophy on a slightly different note. It seems this girl has been accepting all the offers that came her way with open arms and closed eyes; and one such offer includes an item song in Gokula, directed by Prakash (of Milana and Vamshi fame).
Apparently if rumors have to be believed, Ragini’s philosophy of ‘openness’ hasn’t gone down well with Darshan, in whose film Ragini was supposed to act as the heroine. Darshan, who is remaking Telugu super hit Shauryam had earlier replaced Aarti Chhabria with Ragini for his film as the heroine. Now, Darshan, who has at least one item number in each of his film, has reportedly asked the producers to oust Ragini from his film as she is now doing an item number in Gokula.
Amidst all these rumors and news, there is one question about the item number girls that begs to be answered. Why can’t item girls act as heroines? If heroines can reveal it all and make up for item numbers in their films, why can’t item girls wear some clothes along with some expressions on their face?
We are waiting for an answer; and so is Ragini!
