Raj – The show man finally exported!

August 31st, 2009 at 11:58 pm

raaj_theshowman The hype, the hoopla, controversy, mud slinging and at last some good news. Our Kannada movie Raj is going to be released abroad very soon and this time its not any doctor who is going to operate on it, but a company Bevin Exports India (P) Ltd is going to release the movie abroad.

The company has claimed that it has bagged the rights to release and distribute the movie abroad and has also signed agreement with the producer. So this time it seems that both parties have taken professional path by signing an agreement rather than relying on mouth publicity.

The company has already set dates for first phase release of the movie. It is going to be released in Singapore on 27th September and subsequently in Australia on 4th of October. In the second phase the movie is going to be released in New Zealand, USA, Dubai, Malaysia, UK and South Africa for which the dates are yet be fixed. The company has prior experience of releasing Kannada movies abroad. It has previously released Abhi, Akash, Mungarumale, Galipata, Rama Shama Bhama etc. in foreign theatres. So finally it appears that the movie has fallen into right hands and that should teach some lessons to our KFI people.

Though the movie had lukewarm reaction from the home viewers, it cannot be called as a complete flop. Let’s hope the movie gets some good reactions from our NRI brethren and also let’s hope from now onwards our director Prem stops using his head to create false hype and rather burns it for writing good scripts for his upcoming movies.

Abroad release is not a big deal these days.
What is the use if can’t do better here?

Do u know how things work? — before the masses can find out about the blunders of a movie…. they put up Ads, posters, publicity about the grand release (as many as theaters) to collect more money before the blunder is revealed to the masses. When the masses reject it…they continue to run the movie in empty theaters and declare it as hit, super hit, mega hit, 356 days, etc.. They loot money from the poor. People only get a few minutes of flash from the heroine, which is not worth a whole ticket!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

To be simple, they have to sell the bun before it spoils. Such a shame.
Why don’t u put a review of this bun?
