Ratnaja high on Premism

Ratnaja the man behind Nenapirali and Honganasu, now is back with Premism. Shooting is almost halfway thru. Though his Honganasu crashed before he could open his eyes, he’s again picked up a love story in his latest venture with almost the same team; Ajay Gowda as producer and Hamsalekha scoring the music. One of the celebrated features in Ratnaja’s earlier films is the super hit music, all thanks to Hamsaleka. With the recent nexus of stodgy albums by Hamsaleka, this might be a break.

Although Prem gets to be Ratnaja’s favorite actor, Premism spells show time for Chetan Chandra, the actor who debuted in PUC. The child star Amoolya plays the role of a college student, the actress who rose to fame with her performance in Cheluvina Chiththaara.

Coincidently almost everybody associated with this movie has a flop on their back! Ratnaja and Ajay Gowda’s Honganasu, Hamsalekha’s all albums after Honganasu, Chetan Chandra’s PUC, Amoolya’s Chaitrada Chandrama, to name a few. Even then, this new flick from Ratnaja-Hamsaleka combo might be worth a try.
