It’s Remake Vs Original next week!

December 12th, 2009 at 2:28 pm

Puneeth-Raam Two big banner films, Puneeth Rajkumar’s Raam and Sumana Kittur’s Kallara Santhe are going to be released next friday, 18th Dec 2009. Kallara Santhe is the second directorial venture of Journalist turned director, Sumana Kittur. Agni Shridhar has penned the story, screenplay, and dialogues for this film and stars Yash and Haripriya in the lead roles. The film had run into few Censor troubles as well. According to Sumana Kittur, Censor has chopped few phrases like “ಗಣಿ ಲೂಟಿ” and “ವಿಧಾನಸೌದ” from the film. Aghast at such chopping, Kallara Santhe film crew had launched a protest demonstration in front of Censor office under the leadership of Agni Shridhar.

Raam stars Puneeth Rajkumar and Priyamani in the lead roles and its a remake of a Telugu film, Ready. The original movie had ample action, comedy, and dances. If K.Maadesh manages to remake it well, it can be a feast to Puneeth’s fans. The song “Hosa Gaana Bajaana” has already topped the charts.

Wrong perception from Sunil.Remakes are like virus,no actor in the history of kfi so far has made any significant contributions to industry ,language and selfrespected kanada cinegoers from the remakes.Remakes always takes an actor several light years behind with zero identity wrt position and status.Moreever its big burden to cosmos cities with ever increase of non kannada folks each and every day.

All kannada movies should be hit ones….no matter they r remake or swamake..
Decision should be made by public based on y\the story of the movie and not whether it is remake or swamake….

Raam should become a flop. Actually, ALL remakes should become flops.
