RGV to Direct a Movie in Kannada?

January 25th, 2010 at 4:17 pm

ramgopalvarma After some acclaimed artists such as Amithabh Bachchan and Nana Patekar tested the Gandhinagar waters, now, it may be the turn of directors to do so. The latest grapevine in Gandhinagar suggests that Ram Gopal Varma, who has struck an inalienable chord with namma Kichcha Sudeep, may soon direct a bilingual movie to be made in Hindi and Kannada.

The film will be titled Nirnay and it seems to RGV is all set to caste some artists from KFI in his film. The maverick director has already worked with Sudeep in a number of films and some other projects are already in the pipeline.

We will shortly know if it’s KFI’s good luck or the bad luck, as you never really know what pops out of RGV’s movie factory at any given time. Sometimes, it could be the cult classics like Satya or Shiva, and some other times, it could be the unintended horror flicks such as Ram Gopal Varma Ki Aag! Also, knowing RGV’s ingenious ways of creating publicity for his films, you cannot even rule out the possibility of all this being a publicity gimmick for his upcoming film Rann, which stars Sudeep!

Keep your fingers crossed!

maybe RGV has made Sudeep a full-fledged hero in Nirnay. Thats y he’s making in Kannada also. Till date in all RGV’s movies, though Sudeep officially played hero role, they were more of supporting actor kinda roles.
