Sada Goes Fida Over Shashank’s Script!

March 12th, 2009 at 6:07 pm

sada Director Shashank of Moggina Manassu fame has more than one reason to be happy. First, it was announced Yogaraj Bhat, who created a Hosa trend with Hale patre song will be penning a song for his new film. And now, Sada (of Anniyan fame) will be acting in his movie, reportedly after going gaga over his script.

For the uninitiated, Sada starred in Rajendra Singh Babu’s mystery movie Mohini 94488 58888, the fate of which isn’t a mystery to anyone, especially to the producers. But in spite of playing the title role, Sada’s first experience in Kannada wasn’t something to be thrilled about and she reportedly turned down many offers from Kannada after that.

So what made her come back to Kannada once more? It’s the lure of a ‘different’ script and a meaty character that made her change her decision about acting in Kannada. Sada, who was playing a sweet girl next door until now, will play a wild thing in love in Shashank’s new film. It turns out that she was looking to play something hatke and she got this. Actually, Shashank was trying for Kangana Ranaut for this role but she was unavailable because of her busy schedule.

Coming back to Sada, looking at some of her pics, we think she has already played the ‘wild thing!’ But if that’s her definition of “girl next door,” may god grant all eligible boys with such a girl in our neighborhood!
