Sandalwood abuzz with new movie announcements!
Even after churning out box office duds for most part of the year, there seems to be no stopping of film announcements in Sandalwood. New comers, old war horses and wannabe directors and producers all are lining up with their new projects. Well, until and unless they offer audience something good to watch on, nobody is complaining.
Our crazy star Ravichandran who is still busy in collecting dew drops for his Manjina Hani and acting in Hoo has shown thumbs up for another movie. The movie is named as Kichaka. Shooting of the movie will begin from Deepavali. The movie has story, screenplay and dialogues by actor Mohan. Its going to be produced by Muniratna of Raktha Kanniru and Anatharu fame. It was presumed that Munirathna is going make movies only with Upendra as he was the lead in his previous two movies, but now that myth seems to be broken.
It is not yet clear that who is going to direct the movie. Since Mohan and Ravichandran are both directors either of them may sit on the captain’s chair. Sadhu Kokila who directed Muniratna’s previous movies is also in the fray for the top job.
Preethiyinda Ramesh, no, it is not the last line of any letter written by Ramesh Aravind but it is the name of his next movie. It is the same title under which he hosted a talk show for a TV channel.
The movie is going to be produced by N. Ravikumar and will be directed by Gunakumar. The music is going to be scored by A.T.Ravish. A.C. Mahendran will shoulder the camera. Dialogues are penned by Vijaya Parasad.
The movie has two actresses in lead, Ramanitoo Chawdari and a Mumbai model Suma Gupta. The movie will start shooting from 14th October.
Yash the Moggina Manasu hudaga might be the eye candy of every girl these days but he does what he does best; acting. After winning the Filmfare award and acting in Gokula with Sandalwood’s ace director Pakash everybody seems to be flocking him with offers. He has now signed a new movie named as Modala Sala. The movie is going on the floors on 1st October and it will be directed by new entrant Purushottam C. Somanathpur.
The movie will be produced by Mallikarjun Gadag and Yogesh Narayan who also happens to be a software engineer. The producers also have other software buddies to help them with the finance. The other technical crew of the movie contains biggies of the industry. Ace music director V. Harikrishna is going to score the music while H.C. Venu will hold the camera. Deepu S. Kumar will cut the reels and Raviverma will choreograph the stunts. The dialogues of the movie will be written by Chintan.
The lead actress for the movie is still to be hunted down while Rangayana Raghu and Sharan are finalized for their roles in the movie.

None of the mentioned movies deserve any sort of discussions.Enough of dabba remakes and violence movies(skin show, double meaning and embrassing moments for family audiences). We need good and swamake movies thats it.
bellitere website is most useful to kannadigas, first i thanks to who has created, and supporters this web. i am getting more information regarding kannada films from this web. i wish all the best to `NANNA NECCHINA KANNADA CHITRARANGA ‘
that comedian mohan is writing story, screenplay and dialogues for keechaka… lol
ravi mama ollolle hudgeerige kai bidake matte ready aada… koLaka…
Ravi chandran has acted and directed in remakes lot barring very few.The word”creativity” has taken new meaning–guess it.He needs to form good writers and script makers if he realy has concern towards industry rather doing remakes.
Ramesh has not tried any new roles .Diganth and Yash must be careful while selecting movies and maintaining thier status.
Ravichandran should reduce his big tummy.. Being a film director himself, its surprising that he hasn’t thought about it! and that too he’s become old.. He is supposed to put in more efforts to look young and fit.
Ramesh is getting typecasted into comedy roles.. He was experiementive earlier in his career. Sad to see his current state.
Yash is alright but his growth depends on growth of good directors in KFI. Otherwise his case also will become like Ganesh’s.
