Shashank Hit by Recession and Politics!

sada If there is anyone in KFI hurt by the recession and the election at the same time, it must be our Moggina Manassu director Shashank! The guy was doing just fine after the success of Moggina Manassu with two films in his kitty and the future looking rosy. But with both the producers dropping out from their projects, Shashank is left confused and in a hurry to seek producers for his next film.

After Moggina Manassu, Shashank was set to do another film with producer E. Krishnappa. But we don’t know if it was the effect of recession or E. Krishnappa’s newfound asceticism with Kannada films, he simply put a full stop on the project and vanished from the plain sight. Shashank’s second film, which was to be produced by G Gangadhar, has also met the same fate, at least as of now.

It seems G Gangadhar is busy with the elections and he is in no mood to produce this film. The producer had even paid the advances for Shashank, Sada and the music director but decided against the film at the very last moment.

Back to square one, Mr. Shashank!
