Shivaji Prabhu to Act in Kannada

January 14th, 2009 at 11:07 pm

Prabhu Remember that man from Maniratnam’s classic film Anjali, who routinely fulfilled his duty of beating up bad guys even when it is raining? Well, for starters, his name is Shivaji Prabhu, son of Shivaji Ganesan, and the man is all set to appear in Darshan’s latest flick, Boss.

Shivaji Prabhu’s legendary father had made some appearances in Kannada films such as school master in the beginning of his career. Now his son Shivaji makes a slightly delayed foray into Kannada films as the man already has his share of fame and respect in Tamil film industry. Sources say that producer Ramesh Yaday played an important role in bringing Shivaji to Kannada.

We don’t know what Shivaji Prabhu will do in the film. Will he again beat the living daylights of rowdies in pouring rain? Let’s see!
