Shubha Poonja pairs with Diganth

Maybe with the dubious exception of Moggina Manassu, Shubha Poonja never had any hits to write home about in Kannada. But that hasn’t stopped this beautiful girl from getting films one after another. Shubha Poonja will now appear with Diganth in a yet-to-be-named movie directed by V. Umakanth. If you can’t remember who V. Umakanth is, he is the director of films like Anuraga Sangama, Maduve, and Rangena Halliyage Rangada Gowda.

Shubha Poonja is paired with Diganth, who despite his limited acting skills, is getting abundant offers from the filmmakers. His current projects include Manasare directed by Yogaraj Bhat, E-Preethi, Houseful, and Bisile.

Shubha Poonja’s recent films such as Slum Bala and Anjadiru have not set the cash register ringing. The girl is currently acting with her favorite co-star Vijay in Thaakath and with Vijay Raghavendra in Golmal.

The new film by Shubha Poonja will be produced by Satya Narayana. The shooting will start in June.
