Shubha Punja – “Watch Out” for her!

Remember that innocent looking village girl from Moggina Manassu looking hopelessly lost in a swanky college? It was Shubha Punja, a Mangalore based actress who speaks perfect English and dresses like a model on the ramp. Shubha Punja tasted her second straight success in Kannada after Chanda with Moggina Manassu. But before this bud blossomed in Kannada, it had bloomed elsewhere in the neighborhood, in films like Sutta Phazham with our once upon a time Kannadiga, Mohan.

While not too many people showered praises on Shubha’s acting talents in Moggina Manassu, Bellitere felt that the girl had it in her to make it big. She looks confident, does not hold her back, and has one of the cutest faces in Kannada film industry today. And after looking at her pictures, especially from Tamil films, we feel that no one will give a damn about her dialogue delivery too! A smart director will always know what to focus on!

This hot and cute actress, which is a rare combination to say the least, will now be seen in Slum Bala with Viji of Duniya fame. The film is directed by Sumana Kithoor who is a journalist by profession. Gandhinagar grapevine also suggests that Shubha will be the heroine of Viji’s forthcoming film Junglee, to be directed by Suri.
