Stars aplenty in Twenty-20!

After coming together for Amrita Mahotsava of Kannada film industry, the Gandhinagar people will be coming together once more for twenty-20. Nopes, the industry people are not organizing a charity match for the producers who lost money in recent Kannada films. Twenty-20 is the name of a new Kannada film that will feature anybody worth their salt in Gandhinagar.

The film will be made in a budget of 30 crores and everybody, from real big stars to the real-estate whiz kids who have made masterpieces in Kannada in recent years (for god’s sake, pun intended!) will be seen in this film. Upendra has been approached to write the script and Ravichandran has been approached to direct the movie. The profits of the film (they are sure there will be some!) will be given to the cine artists’ association.

The shooting for the film is expected to start in the first half of 2010. All the artists are requested to keep their dates free around this time. It will not be a problem for many newcomers as they have their dates free all the time!
