Sudeep in Singam Remake
Finally, the hapless Kannada cine goers will have the good fortune of watching another remake of Tamil film Singam in their mother tongue. This remake is brought to you by Sudeep, who was reportedly engaged in stiff competition with another remake Yodha to get the remake rights for the movie. Sudeep, who sizzled as a super cop in Veera Madakari will be again be seen as a cop in Kempegowda (ironically, that is the name of this remake movie!)
The film is produced by Shankare Gowda and is directed by Sudeep himself. Sudeep’s another project Kanwarlal, which was threatening to start shooting for some time now, has been put on backburner for this project. Other cast and crew are yet to be selected.
But if 8 out of 10 Kannada films are remakes (as a very soft spoken Kannada actress said Just Maath Maathalli in a recent national television interview), why should we wait for an additional 6-8 months to watch those films? Why can’t we simply dub those movies into Kannada and watch it immediately with its release? Although that practice would practically kill the burgeoning remake industry, it would open up a sea of opportunities for the local dubbing artists, sub titling specialists and other related people. It will also save producers investing their hard earned money into projects and then claiming that the media killed their ‘wonder’ful projects.
But as of now, even if you are Kempegowda, you will only see remakes in Kannada.

JMM was rehash of JAB WE MEET,sudeep made minor changes to create confusions in the audiences minds thats it.There was nothing creative and good attempt,anyone can easily direct such movies by keeping few associates and asst directars.

This is for those calling as Remake Rajaa. Sudeep has given a wonderful original movie “JUST MAATH MATHALLI’ . That was a well directed beautiful movies by the standards of KFI. But unfortunately the audience have not supported Sudeep and the producer Sankare Gowda. Hence the Remake of Singum
Sudeep has good support from this platform,irrespective of movie quality and orginal.remake factor he will get good reviews.
He has studied engineering graduate , always making noises in speeches b ut not in reality.The qualities of real artist and passion towards true arts and entertainments are badly missing.
dont give cheap interview like this.if sandalwood also does dubb then it will be ruined.u media people only publish like this.u media people is the enemies for sandalwood…..

Sudeep is just a remake rajaa. He has absolutely no intentions of contributing anything meaningful to the industry.A wasted talent It is absolutely ridiculous to see him keep doing remakes.
