Mouni naanu is simply super… i can’t live without listening to this song atleast once a day..karthik sir n ilayaraja sir combi is awesome.. the best part of the song is karthik sir’s voice rendering n the feel..i cant describe it in words!!!!

Nothing great about this album…many songs are inspired from 90s songs. Illayarajaa has running out of tunes, just overhyped album.

The music is really great. when I seen the song Swalpa sound in TV first time, I felt it is not that much good. Later I played in the Music System, it really great song, I love to hear again and again. Edeya Bagilu is nice melody, which is like opera type song, which most of the people don’t like unless they know about technicalities of Opera songs.

Mauni Nanu is really great rendition by Maestro & Karthik combination.

Generally Illayaraja’s music won’t become hit at first instance, it will take few days time to realize the beauty of its richness and people start liking it. (Example: Namoora Mandhara Hoove also had similar music reviews but later it was a super hit songs)

Overall the great music & songs by Illayaraja.

Illayaraaja once again proves that he is the ever green maestro. Swalpa soundu is going to become the biggest hit song of the year, edeya baagilu is a great romantic number, i just hope the choreography is up to the mark, Mouni naanu is another great song, after hearing the album, i have great expectations from the movie. I just hope the movie is good, looked at the promos and it is very promising, the film has a rich look and is different from the current crop of Kannada films coming out. Atleast the visual quality is very good going by the promos. All the best to the team os Suryakaanti.

I just can’t stop listening to Edeya baagilu and Mouni naanu. Even the pathos version of Mouni is fantastic. Swalpa soundu is a good composition but the music arrangements seem out dated, but the song itself is a good one. Overall an above average album with the song of the year in Edeya baagilu. Kudos to chaitanya and the whole team, hope the film is up to the mark.

doesn’t matter what kind of a movie it is, the content matters.like…1.screenplay. 2.direction 3.hero’s performance. 4.camera work. 5. music…birugaali scored full points in 3, 4 & 5. Direction and screenplay was a let down…suryakaanti has a good director along with a talented hero so we can expect substance.

very nice songs..very nice videos..the hero n heroine both are charming(rare case).
average review rating is fine. but individually, i think Edeya Baagilu, Mauni Naanu and swalpa soundu deserves 4.5, 4, 4.5/5 respectively.

Hey Guys,

I am from Tamil Nadu. Believe me, three tracks are really good. The outstanding track of this album is Edeya Baagilu. Superb. It belongs to a rare genre of music which you occasionally hear it in Indian cinema. it gives you a feeling as if you are hearing a western musical alone at night. Great job Raja.

One tip for hearing Raja’s music. Don’t hear his music from a music album perspective. Think it is Original sound track perspective. He will give what the movie and its situation requires. Hope the songs are picturised sensibly. He can give any number of mindless & monotonous music albums which you can fit into any movie.

I find the review is much better than others available over internet.

Edeya Baagilu’s pleasant love feel is superb! this song is highly romantic and is just perfect for a hero like Chetan.
Swalpa soundu came on TV yesterday…it’s a cool song and u can listen/watch it many times but Edeya Baagilu haunts you more. Another hit record yet again from Chetan, Chaitanya and Illayaraja combination!
