Veera Madakari Audio Review

(1/5) Spare your ears!
Music Review by Raju Shanbhag
When you listen to the songs of Veera Madakari, one word comes dancing down to your mind, “crude.” The tunes are crude, the lyrics are in direct competition with yesteryear Kashinath films in their below the belt literature. Unless the film defends these not so decent lyrics in a big way, we would definitely start wondering what an actor like Sudeep doing in this project.

Jinta Ta [Singers: Sudeep, Tennis Krishna, Anuradha, Drum Prakash]: Speaking at the beginning of the song is no more a funny tradition in Kannada. It has now become a commercial necessity. Sudeep starts off the album in his deep voice, lectures about the difference between police and the actors, and signs off as if he is splashing a sea of insult to your miserable faces. Coming to the song, although it has a good tune, it resembles Botany song from RGV’s Shiva. No wonder he is Sudeep’s current mentor! The lyrics by Kaviraj range from purely funny to below the belt bonanza.
Dummare [Singers: Shankar Mahadevan, Akanksha Badami, Sunita]: After Sudeep’s ramblings are over in the beginning of the song, Shankar Mahadevan takes off the mantle of yelling at the mike. Akanksha Badami and Sunita join Shankar in yelling competition and Keeravani’s music is just what Shankar wanted for the song. An easily forgettable song.
Jum Jum Maya [Singers: Ajay Warrior, Anuradha Bhat]: By now, you would have understood that this film is all about worshipping Sudeep and his image. He again rants threatening dialogues to some character artists before the song actually starts. But when Ajay Warrior, Anuradha Bhat start off on their sensuous voices, you feel that something hot is going on behind the scenes. To add to the sleaze, some extremely satisfied person keeps moaning contentedly every five seconds in the background. Kaviraj’s lyrics are suitable for too many types of films. Take a guess.
Manjari Manjari [Singer: Sinchana Dixit]: Sinchana Dixit’s multi-layered voice syncs perfectly with the inviting lyrics of V. Nagendra Prasad. Consider this line for a sample, Nannanu Padeyalu Credit Card Saku.” How disgusting! What will the people with only debit cards do? Again, ample opportunities to exploit all that the item girl has got.
Jo Laali [Singer: Akanksha Badami]: A small medley about a mother trying to put her son to sleep. The music director has huge confidence on his song’s ability to put the child to sleep as it ends pretty quickly. Did Akanksha Badami’s soothing voice put that child to sleep? Don’t know, but I am certainly catching up on lost sleep listening to these songs. And by the way, Sudeep does not talk before the song. Bravo!
Veera Madakari [Singers: Satish Aryan, Chorus]: Sudeep ignites the inevitable by something to the effect that his hands should be on his moustache when the death faces him. Wish granted. But why should we made to suffer with a boisterous title track to fulfill his wish?

Veeera madakari review..
Even if u see this movie, standing in a critic point of view, U’ll definitely like it..
A pakka out and out commercial mass movie wit all the elements well blended..
Songs, action, comedy, sentiment are equally well mixed..
Acting wise, Sudeep stands tall.. As usual his mannerisms and dialogues are impressive..
After a gap, he’s into a double role and has managed it in a great way..
Good thing is, he has introduced new faces to the industry.. Ragini, the lead lady in the movie has
acted well.. Titla, the villain has fire in him.. The child artist as Sudeep’s daughter is very loving to see.. She is cute..
Being tagged as a remake of telugu hit “Vikramarkudu”, it has some of its own changes..
Sudeep coming back wit back to back hits like Gooli, Mussanje maathu and Mast maja maadi has again made a point
that his films do a decent business..
I recommend u to watch the movie.. Since we havent seen this kind of release in recent times..
I give it 4 out of 5..
Jinta ta & jum jum maya are simply superb…..
